Partial hospitalization (PHP)

What Does Partial Hospitalization Treatment Offer?

These programs provide the most intensive level of non- residential, non-inpatient care available. Care is designed for individuals who (1) have completed inpatient or residential treatment and will benefit from continued structure as they transition, or (2) have needs that do not rise to the level that require the intensive nature of treatment in inpatient and residential levels.

Though programs vary, PHP is generally 6 hours a day, 5 days a week. With therapeutic groups daily, PHP is tailored to fit individual needs. Led by therapists and registered nurses, therapeutic group curriculum is offered in a variety of settings.
