Intensive outpatient (IOP)

What Does Intensive Outpatient Treatment Offer?

Intensive outpatient treatment offers a structured setting that is less restrictive than partial hospitalization programs, inpatient, or residential care programs. In an Intensive Outpatient Program, therapy sessions are typically 3 hours a day, 3 days per week.

All individuals who engage in intensive outpatient treatment receive individualized treatment plans that are tailored to meet their unique needs so that their treatment goals can be most appropriately met. These individualized treatment plans include a variety of therapeutic interventions.
